Students performed at Shaker Pointe at Carondelet in Watervliet. They sang holiday songs and ate lunch with the residents. The students had so much fun swapping stories and getting to know the residents.

Congratulations to our Taylor Spelling Bee winners, Lee, Aiden, and Ryan who took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively. Lee is off to Proctors Theater for the regional portion of the competition!

The faculty participated in a daylong workshop with Dr. Kevin Mahoney. The workshop emphasized problem-solving and mental math strategies, as well as balancing conceptual understanding with procedural fluency. Our teachers expanded their mathematical teaching practices during this highly engaging training.

Students in the 5/6 class joined Creative Movement for Children to support Russell Sage College students in learning how to incorporate dance and movement into their teaching practice.

Students in all grades enjoyed our October tradition of turning pumpkins into literary characters. Working collaboratively, partners designed and created some amazing characters!

Betty Odell, great friend and supporter of the Susan Odell Taylor School, recently turned 97. Betty's joyful presence at our celebration events means a lot to us. Happy Birthday from all your Taylor School friends!

Students (K-8) kicked off this year's Pen Pal project with a gathering at our Pinewoods Campus. This beloved tradition ensures that friendships endure between our two campuses.
