Our school was founded in 1998 and proudly named after Susan Odell Taylor. Susan was an exceptional, remarkable teacher who taught at The Children’s School at Emma Willard for seven years. She created a vibrant, exciting classroom every day. Sue died in 1997 after a valiant struggle with breast cancer. She will forever be remembered for how she reached every student and inspired them to learn and find joy in the learning process.
From our grassroots beginning, we have grown into a distinguished educational institution in the Capital Region. Taylor School provides each child a challenging and academically rich environment where students build strong learning fundamentals, self-confidence, collaborative skills, and community responsibility.
