WELCOME TO A TRANSFORMATIVE EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY  Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, the Susan Odell Taylor School and the Doane Stuart School will partner to offer an engaging educational experience designed to give students the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive from early childhood through their high school years. We believe in a transformative approach to learning that goes hand-in-hand with personalized attention and an emphasis on well-being. Admissions Process

Our goal is to get to know you and your child, while you get to know our school community. Throughout this process, your questions are always welcome. We encourage you to contact us if any questions arise.

Step 1: Tour our school
During your visit, you will observe our classrooms, meet our teachers, and have an opportunity to ask questions about our educational philosophy and curriculum, enrichment programs, and tuition options. Conveniently schedule a tour online here, call us at 518.274.4994, or email Meagan Duncan at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Step 2: Submit an application and fee
Once we have the application we will request your child's records and a teacher recommendation from their current school. This helps us learn about your child's prior educational experiences.

Step 3: School visit
It’s an exciting experience for our new students, and gives your child a chance to get to know the children and teachers, and gives us a chance to get to know your child. Children applying for prekindergarten will visit for a short time while older children will stay for a half or full day visit.
